I don't think #3 is relevant to this issue. As I understand it, this issue is about effects (animations) (see #736066-284: ajax.js insert command sometimes wraps content in a div, potentially producing invalid HTML and other bugs), not about Drupal.behaviors.

I opened #3001570: Drupal.attachBehaviors() documents inconsistent instructions about the context parameter for the Drupal.behaviors problem.

If I read #736066: ajax.js insert command sometimes wraps content in a div, potentially producing invalid HTML and other bugs and the changes that got added to the patch after this issue was opened, wasn't this solved there in the end?

Is this issue still needed?

If it's still needed can we update the IS since it should now be clearer what still needs to be done.

#12 suggests that this has been fixed and asks for confirmation that the problem exists on a supported version of Drupal. There has been no reply. Therefor I am closing this.
