hansfn commentedThis sounds like a good idea and you have good content already. I think you need someone with documentation super powers to create the top-level "area" - or maybe I don't see how I can create it for you. Maybe @eojthebrave can provide some info or fix it for you?

drummI found we already have https://www.drupal.org/node/247972, which I’m sure is outdated and/or incomplete. Is that something that should be migrated and used as a starting point?
The pages around that are about organizing other types of events. I think we’ll want one guide for events in general, with a sub-guide for camps, instead of top-level guides for each type of event.

froboyList of documentation to be consolidated:
- DrupalCamp and Event Organizing Guide, Version10 (2011-2018)
- Organizing Drupal Camps (2015)
- Draft Camp Organizers Playbook (2017-2018)
- DrupalCamp Organizing Guide Reorganization (2011)
- Drupal Camp Organizing Guide (2008-2011)
- Camp Survival Guide (2018)
- Drupal Camp Organizers Google Drive
- So you want to run a Drupal Camp, Here's what you should know (2018)

froboyI think this will eventually go into https://www.drupal.org/community/event-organizers, and that group is working on creating the documentation with @rachel_norfolk's help on the DA side, so I think this issue can be closed.
