I have entered a repeating date for the second tuesday of each month.
It works well for this year, but when the date spans to next year suddenly it is the second wednesday of each month instead of the second tuesday.

KarenS CreditAttribution: KarenS commentedI'm unable to replicate this. I need more information about what options you've chosen and what kind of field you're using. A screenshot or description of the exact options you chose for the repeat would be nice, and an export of the field (using Content Copy) would let me see how you have your date field set up.
It would also be good to know what version of PHP you're using and what your site timezone is.

KarenS CreditAttribution: KarenS commentedThat seems more likely. If you're not seeing what you expect in Calendar, be sure you update to the latest code for both Date and Calendar and edit your calendar view and save it (that will make sure no wrong values are stuck in a cache somewhere). If you still have a problem, report it in the Calendar module.
