This patch worked initially, but now the database credentials will not load. I know that simplytest.me updated PHP late last week.

Not sure if the following is related and I will open a new issue.

The following PHP warning is displayed:
7.0.27-1+ubuntu14.04+deb.sury.org+1 Your PHP installation is running version 7.0.27-1+ubuntu14.04+deb.sury.org+1. Support for this version will be dropped in a future release.
