We implemented a custom widget in the thunder project to provide a entity browser integration with the ief simple widget.
This patch attaches entity browser third party settings form to said widget.

If I get you right this is only the integration of the ief plus widget. Where can I download the widget itself?

I don't see inline_entity_form_simple_plus in the thunder project now (8.x-2.36), is this out of date? Can this issue be closed? Closing as out of date. Reopen if I'm wrong.
