How can I hide the filter-guidelines-item text?

I am using multiple textfields in a Content Type. The filter-guidelines-item text below the input takes up a lot of space. Take look at my screenshot

How can I completely hide the guideline text?

Email addresses will be obfuscated in the page source to reduce the chances of being harvested by spammers.
