Hi

http://www.hartlandpeninsula.co.uk
Drupal 8.3.2

I have recently upgraded from D6 to D8.

I have tried to re-index the site and also used cron to do so, but am still seeing '0% of the site has been indexed. There are 833 items left to index' - there are also no messages in logs to show that I have attempted to re-index, but there are messages related to running the cron

The search was working fine for the D6 site, had poormans cron installed, worked fine.

Now, nothing seems to be indexed and i can't get it indexed.

I have seen a few other '0% of the site has been indexed' forum posts but they are not relevant as they are not Drupal 8 and also many of them appear to be issues related to not using cron, which i have used, so that isn't the problem, as far as I can see anyway.

Is there something i am missing here, some Drupal 8 specific configuration?

Help appreciated.

Matt

some nodes had url/link fields and in drupal 7 it was ok to add the url withut http://, but with drupal 8 you need to add http://, if you don't you will receive 'unexpected error' and a broken page, and the problem will be flagged in drupal logs in Reports. so, i had to go through and add http:// to all the url fields that were missing it, and then ran the cron a good few times to index content and it worked.
