Why Drupal was chosen:
Drupal is a powerful framework that provides out-of-the-box features that can be easily extended and customized. We could use Drupal’s existing features and customize the code where necessary. Also, Drupal’s offering of general-purpose, high-quality modules meant that we could employ code more quickly while meeting business requirements.
Describe the project (goals, requirements and outcome):
The website has various sections describing all the facilities and features Overture is offering. Some of these sections were developed by us and they are enumerated as:
- Community Listing page: With geo maps this shows where all the properties are located.
- Multisite feature: Wherever Overture’s properties are located, each has a separate website connected to the main site. So we built this multisite feature which enables visitors to reach any particular location’s website easily.
- Local Area section in multisite: A map shows all the local areas around Overture’s property location.
- Floor Plans: Here, real time data is being fetched
- Photos & Videos listing where Videos are locally hosted
- Modern Living - Depicts all the Features, Amenities, and Services
- Experiences & Events
- Resources - Cost Calculator, FAQ, Blogging, News listing
- Contact Us - Developed a Webform

Why these modules/theme/distribution were chosen:
Google Analytics: As this module adds the Google Analytics web statistics tracking system to your website, we used this for SEO purpose.
Video: We needed locally hosted videos and this module provides a reliable API for converting videos and create thumbnails, embed video to node body using WYSIWYG module (D7 only) and many more.
Entity Pager: This was used to enable moving from one node to another especially in a blog
XML Sitemap: This module helps search engines to more intelligently crawl a website and keep their results up to date. Hence we used this for SEO.
Metatag: This module was also used for SEO purpose as meta tags usually refers to the meta description tag and the meta keywords tag that may help improve the rankings and display of a site in search engine results.
