Hello,

I think it is possible to create a messaging between the users with the flags.

I have created a type of comment:
- "Private Conversation" with a "Text (formatted, long)" field.

I also created a personal "Flag" with a "Comments" field.

The problem: the text field is not displayed.

Only the flagged user and the author of the flagged content can see the conversation and respond

The comments field works on the entity view, not the entity form.

Aren't there other modules for this sort of thing?

On drupal 8 the modules to do this are very limited

Closing because Drupal 8 now has Private Message, which should handle messaging out-of-the-box much more easily than Flag.
