When completing the form for creating a group and hitting save, the user is directed to his personal page where a message is displayed saying that he/she is not a member of any group.

Attempting to create the group again, shows a form for completing the former process (if user is Administrator, a URL alias is requested for the group; if the user is not Administrator, a non-editable blank field is shown). Hitting the [ Save Group and Membership ] button completes the group creation process, with 2 registered users if the user creating the group is a registered user or 0 users if the user creating the group is the Administrator.

I tried this both:

  • As Administrator
  • As a registered user with
  • Administrator, Content manager and Site manager roles
  • Administer URL aliases and Create and edit URL aliases permissions.
  • On Chrome and on Safari

Attached are screen captures of both workflows (creating a group as a registered user and as the Administrator user)

I cleared caches, ran cron and attempted the process 2 times on each platform and with each user, always got the same results.

Please note that there are 12 files attached, although it's only displaying 5... I guess admins can see the rest.
