The project was aimed at redesigning the NCCEH website to modernize its appearance and functionality and to update the website from Drupal 6 Drupal 7.

The redesign included simplifying and improving site navigation, the content architecture, improving the consistency of the user interface from section to section, improving SEO, and improving the site’s keyword indexing and search engine. The final product featured a fully responsive design that supported usage on mobile devices.

Why Drupal was chosen: 

Drupal was already prescribed by the client, and they chose to go with Drupal 7. Although, had they not wished to go down the Drupal 7 route, we would have definitely recommended it, due to the nature of API integration, and their need for future proofing the solution.
