Problem

I have a problem with all my websites using Webform as a basic contact page which is not necessarily a defect with the Webform module (Drupal 7.56 and Webform 7.x-4.15)

I can send email from my Bluehost server using mailx on the command line, however messages sent via webform are never received (see example webform at http://www.oregonwebsiteservices.com/contact-mike )

Cause?

Fairly recently I have received spam messages from my contact forms, such as the example below. I believe these messages may have caused my websites to be flagged as spamming websites. What can be done to fix this?

SPF Solution?

I am not very good with SPF records, but I think perhaps I can fix it there? My current SPF looks like this:

v=spf1 a mx ptr include:bluehost.com ?all

Hey Mike, I may be having a similar issue.
Are you trying to send the messages to an @oregonwebsiteservices.com email address?

I was able to verify that the messages where being sent from the server, but for some reason they would never be received by my yahoo.com and gmail.com mailboxes. I set up a mailbox on oregonwebsiteservices.com and those messages ~were~ received. So I looked closely at the messages and found that this line was causing the problem:

Submitted by user: Anonymous 155.133.82.64

So I removed this line from the Webform email template and now it seems to work just fine:

Submitted by user: [submission:user]
