Customising default view fails

HI, when I customise the default view with a 2 or 3 column layout it fails, see message and log report below.

This also happens when I set a custom block display as well as paragraphs.

If I use a custom view I create in the View modes it works ok, but this is creating a limitation on what I want to do with paragraphs, I want to have several views modes on the same page, two, three and four column, all on default view.
