views data export not working for special character for xls and doc [#2888434]

I have an issue in exporting view using view data export module.
Whenever i export my data in xls and dox format it is not exporting properly because i my table contain '€' character.
it is really a bug. I have attached my table data with this issue.

This appears to be working fine for me, so maybe it's not just that the character is present, but maybe that it's present and there is some other thing present or happening also.
