Problem with special characters

there is a problem with special characters, i run a multilingual site (english and german) and Austria is in german "Österreich" and it appears in the list at the bottom - that is ok, but when you put "Ö" into the input field the suggestions below are only "h" - the last letter of the word. when you click on it "Österreich" appears in the input field. the error is just the suggestion "h" when you type
