we would like to issue the moderation of our new group Drupal-Berlin for all Berlin/Germany localized activities which are not directly linked with the activities of the Berlin User Group (which does have a separated group for User Group related activities only).
We already have an announcement for our Drupal Code Sprint event added. And we would like to spread the word as quickly as possible.

dddave CreditAttribution: dddave commentedI am not convinced that a separate group next to an already existing thriving one (https://groups.drupal.org/dub-drupal-usergroup-berlin) is helpful or necessary. For sure our Group approval criteria clearly state that we want to avoid regional overlap and competing Groups in the same region.

apadernoI totally agree with dddave.
Since the group type for the existing group is geographical, its purpose doesn't seem to publish posts for a club. Looking at the posts, I don't have the feeling those are posts about a Drupal club. If that was the case, the groups type should probably be working group.

apadernoThe group isn't anymore in the Moderation Queue, which I take it's an approved group.
