Installing & Upgrading Doc: Features Override issues

These three links to explain how to use Features Override:

all 404.

I did send this in a site contact email awhile back, guess I should have posted it here?

To replicate those three blog posts / videos takes 2 - 5 hours of Googling, complete guesswork, and re-iterative testing to get Features Override to work. (Well, I guessing as, since I’ve never viewed them, I’m not sure if they had more, or less, information than what I found.)

Additionally, Features Override crashes whenever it encounters a Feature with Rules.

#1316248: Enable overriding (forking) of whole component or a property/subset
#1316014: does not work with rules

Per all of the above, this request is to:

A) Bring the info from the 404 links on to the Documentation page itself, or re-create the pages on either D.O or drupalcommerce.org.

B) Edit / re-write the PRESERVING CUSTOMIZATIONS section to include how to capture customizations of the CK Features that use Rules.
