We recently installed the new dev version of the Drupal 7 module and it seemed to work great, it fixed some of the performance problems we were having. However, after clearing the cache there was a message that the permissions needed to be rebuilt. So we attempted to rebuild permissions and ran into an error. I'm still trying to conjure up the exact error log but was wondering if there were any quick solutions to this?

UPDATE: Steps to Reproduce

  • Remove the old module from the modules folder
  • Add the new module to the modules folder
  • Clear the drupal cache
  • Should see a drupal message asking you to rebuild the permissions cache
  • Follow the link and rebuild the cache
  • Expect an error

Looks like this problem is fixed by updating Lingotek to the latest stable version. Lingotek was causing problems with the permissions rebuild. Thanks!

We thank everyone for their collaboration on this issue, but as the D7 version is no longer supported, we will now close all D7 issues to keep the issue queue a bit tidier. This information won't go anywhere, it just won't show up on the list of open issues anymore.
