Is it possible to have the dashboard as the homepage? I understand users are redirected to dashboard as soon as logged in, but I would like users to click on "home" and be directed to their dashboard, no central homepage when logged in. If I create a redirect variant in panel towards user/*/view (dashboard) page is not found.

solved it... created a page, which url is set as default front page. two variants for the page, both 301 permanent redirects. the anonymous variant redirects to user/login; the authenticated variant redirects to user/%user:uid/view .
