After installing got error message:
Fatal error: Cannot use object of type Drupal\Core\Layout\LayoutDefinition as array in /public_html/modules/layout_plugin/src/Plugin/Layout/LayoutPluginManager.php on line 162

There are many of us having this problem, and for a while now. Looks like a similar problem had an attempt at a fix here:
https://www.drupal.org/node/2876818
But no luck on my part.
