Best method to use a customized bootstrap / change media queries breakpoints for lg

Hello,

I have readed several posts on this forum, but unfortunately it's a little confused and not very clear. Is there a method to modify the media queries breakpoints for screen lg : 1200 > 1280 ?
Can i make this modification directly in my subtheme (cdn) or do i use a customized bootstrap (http://getbootstrap.com/customize/) ? For the customized bootstrap how can i insert it with my theme ? What is the best and simply method to achieve this ?
