I have a standard taxonomy term view, with one level of child terms grouped under the parent. To do that, I added the Title field twice, one hidden and bound to a Parent Term relationship. I then used that as the grouping field. Works fine; no problem there.

What I need to do, is to display certain fields ONLY for the parent, like so:

Parent
Parent.description
Parent.image
-Child
-Child
-Child etc.

Since the parent is essentially a dummy field used only for grouping, I think the solution must be in contextual filters and/or relationships, but I'm still picking my way around Drupal 8 and not having much luck with this one.

I got the view to display how I wanted, using Relationships and field rewrite. A little kludgy, but it works.
