I've been using the 1.x branch of Cache Consistent without incident, but I'd like to stay up-to-date with the latest recommended releases. However, I can't tell from the module page or the release notes what changed from the 1.x branch to the 2.x branch, so I'm hesitant to upgrade, given that the site appears stable using the 1.x branch.
Could you briefly summarize how the 2.x branch differs from the 1.x branch on either the module page or the release notes?
