drupal.org git repositories are not supposed to contain a master branch. Here are the instructions for deleting the master branch.

Kind of interesting I tried this on a different project and it wouldn't let me delete it:

remote: The branch 'master' is identified as an official development branch on Drupal.org, and therefore cannot be deleted.
remote: error: hook declined to update refs/heads/master
To git.drupal.org:project/olark.git
 ! [remote rejected] master (hook declined)
error: failed to push some refs to 'joelpittet@git.drupal.org:project/olark.git'

If you no longer need the reloaded branch, that could be removed too.

In Olark, the branch can't be deleted because the release olark 6.x-1.x-dev is built from that branch. If you submit an issue in the Drupal Webmaster queue, they can probably help you fix it.
