I just figured out that theme_pager_previous() and theme_pager_next() do not forward the attributes parameter. Hence, custom modules calling theme('pager_previous') or theme('pager_next') cannot add custom classes to prev and next buttons. Is there a reason for this omission? Or was it missed out of an error?
