What is the preferred way to update a subtheme from radix version 3.5 to 3.6?
There are updates in e.g. package.json (dev dependencies), bower.json (bower packages).
I've not found any documentation about a correct update path for this update.

I suggest manually compare files. You also can read the changelog.
I am currently updating from 4 to 5 and doing it as i described. Comparing the files and twig templates.

As this is very old i close it. Reopen if still of interest.

The Bootstrap Storybook theme has an Updating the subtheme section in its README.

Perhaps it can be adapted and added to the Radix README?

As @marcoka suggested, manual checks needed, for 5.x to 6.x upgrade, all the twig files and namespacing needs to change as well, it's a lot of manual work, no straight-forward upgrade path here

I understand that upgrading between major versions can be difficult, since many things change.

On the other hand, documentation for updating between minor versions, for example from 5.10 to 5.11 is not an unreasonable request, since updating between minor versions shouldn't be as complicated, I think ...

Also, please note that the original support question was about updating from 3.5 to 3.6.

Title: Correctly update subtheme » Document how to perform a minor update of a subtheme, for example 5.10 to 5.11

It's too bad that it is not possible to document even a minor update.
