"now" reported as invalid date

Hi. (Sorry for posting this to a wrong issue (http://drupal.org/node/269569#comment-936079) at first).

Anyway, I installed the latest dev-tarball (Jul-24), and also have CCK 6.x-2.0-rc4, and Views 6.x-2.0-rc1. Also PHP 5.

I tried to create a view filter, which would show all nodes of a specific content type. That went well. Then I tried to add a filter to display only those nodes, whose CCK date field is less or equal to 'now'. That went not so well. That produced a "date is invalid" message.
