when i enable doubtful mark checkbox it will appear in every question, then i check it and continue to next question but nothing happen after that??? so what is the function of this feature?? because when it is checked or unchecked condition is no different ?? we only got that it is checked or unchecked, thats it? or maybe i missing something to know that the feature is useful..

Hi,

This is part of what's known as Certainty Based Marking (CBM)

With CBM the user answers the question but can also mark the response as certain or uncertain. There is no behavior attached here currently. Some other systems like Moodle do have functionality to award or take away points based on the learner's level of certainty and the correctness of the answer.

When reviewing their results by themselves or with a proctor, they can see if they got the question wrong because they were guessing, or got the question wrong because their thinking was incorrect. Or the opposite, they got the question correct because they were certain that it was the correct answer and not a guess.

While this doesn't show up anywhere in Quiz out of the box, you may choose to expose this value in Views, custom reports, etc.

Or, your learners can use it as a tool before submitting every question (to go back and see which questions they were uncertain about).
