Is there a way to choose the compression (bz2 instead of the default gzip) for scheduled database backups? (or is it planned, and if not can we make it a feature request for drupal 8)

The user also mentions .tar in the comment, so it is unclear which format, or both, may be requested.

See attached screenshot for drop-down menu with GZip, BZip, and Zip options. So, to clarify, you are requesting that the compression options be added to the scheduled downloads page, correct?
