I was using the Admininal theme on my D7 site. Since then I've upgraded the site to D8. The only problem is that even with Adminimal not installed I see at the top of all my admin pages:

This block is broken or missing. You may be missing content or you might need to enable the original module.

This block is broken or missing. You may be missing content or you might need to enable the original module.

...because its looks for 3 adminimal specific blocks (block-adminimal-user-online, block-adminimal-comment-recent, and block-adminimal-user-new). I can make these messages go away by installing the D8 version of the theme but I'd like to just use Seven instead. I tried installing Adminimal for D8 and uninstalling it, but the messages came back. I can't find references to these blocks either.

I think there might also be a connection with https://www.drupal.org/node/2232787

I've got a few frontend blocks showing up on the backend but the solution in 2232787 doesn't work anymore now that I've upgraded to D8 as those blocks don't show up in the blocks listing.
