To get links with a taxonomy field and have the any option, I have to enable multiple selection on the filter, then enable the any option in BEF, then disable multiple selection on the filter.

What is the reason for the requirement to have multiple selected before you can enable the any option?

Hi, there will be no more future development for 7.x branch. If you see this issue in 8.x, feel free to file an issue. Closing this as Closed(wont fix).
