This is how i did it. Change directory to home and download the composer.json file:

cd ~
wget https://github.com/goalgorilla/social_template/blob/master/composer.json

Then type and run this command:

composer install

And waited for all the files to be downloaded. During this time, i did get some warning messages such as:

Deprecation Notice: The callback cweagans\Composer\Patches::postInstall declared at /home/username/vendor/cweagans/composer-patches/src/Patches.php accepts a Composer\Script\PackageEvent but post-package-install events use a Composer\Installer\PackageEvent instance. Please adjust your type hint accordingly, see https://getcomposer.org/doc/articles/scripts.md#event-classes in

But it seems to carry on installing anyway.

It installs everything into /public_html folder.

Finally, i created a new DB and just go to my web browser and run the Drupal installation setup to complete the process.

Sounds like a common composer issue

try running the command with

--prefered-dist

so:

composer create-project goalgorilla/social_template:dev-master kaas --no-interaction --prefer-dist

Also make sure you regularly update your composer with composer self-update

I also tryed to download the project with the latest composer.json file.

I get the same [RuntimeException]
Failed to execute git clone --no-checkout 'https://git.drupal.org/project/r4032login' ...

Also tryed to install is with "drush dl social". but when i try to install it, then some address and social auth modules are missing. using the included composer.json there does not download the missing modules.

Is there a out-of-the box solution to get opensocial easy as described installed on my webserver?

I ran a new test, with and without --prefer-dist switch. It was successful both times. So, whatever problem I had, it's be fixed. I even cleared the cache, just in case.
