We will need a bit more information to determine is this is a core bug.

For starters: What was the View? Which contributed modules were used? Or any custom code?

I ve used group module. But i feel this should address all general cases. The issue is due to the array of the group content plugins we select in the contextual filters. Hope this helps.

If you are experiencing this problem on a supported version of Drupal reopen the issue, by setting the status to 'Active', and provide complete steps to reproduce the issue (starting from "Install Drupal core").

More information hasn't been supplied in 6 months to verify that this problem still exists. I am closing as outdated.
