When you uninstall the block module and reinstall it the node add buttons are missing.

Steps to recreate:

  • Uninstall the block module
  • Install the block module

Now the add content button disappeared.
Also some other blocks are missing.

I tested this on 8.9.x and 9.3.x and was not able to reproduce this error. I followed the steps given in the Issue Summary.

Therefore, closing as cannot reproduce. If you are experiencing this problem reopen the issue, by setting the status to 'Active', and provide complete steps to reproduce the issue (starting from "Install Drupal core").

I retested on Drupal 10.1.x and was not able to reproduce the problem, using the steps in the Issue Summary.
