Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
"Learn how to install Drupal" link for Drupal 8.2.6 goes to Drupal 7 install instructions on https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/releases/8.2.6 .
The link is for https://www.drupal.org/documentation/install , but it redirects to https://www.drupal.org/docs/7/install instead of https://www.drupal.org/docs/8/install .

apadernoThere is a URL redirect (the link is for administrators) that redirects users from documentation/install to node/2764151. This is clearly wrong, since it would work for every Drupal version, while the users need to be redirected to the page for the Drupal version they are watching.

The link on that page (https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/releases/8.2.6) now directs to you https://www.drupal.org/docs/8/install (correct) instead of https://www.drupal.org/docs/install
I checked several of the current Drupal 8 releases and several of the current Drupal 7 releases, and they all have a correct link for their version number. I think this was fixed by changing something in the "What's Next" pane.
