I'm reviewing what Druapl distribution to focus on and use to demo an Intranet solution to client. Kindly help recommend from your experience between these three (with steady maintainance):
1) Open Atirum
2) Open Social
3) Open Lucius

What I'm looking for is a solution that is not complex, easy to tweak technically (customization) and user friendly with good UI. Built on Drupal 7 preferred.

I've looked at a couple besides but many are no longer been maintained but if you have any other that will enable collaboration, document management and all the social spec do recommend as well. Thank you.

We're looking to build our intranet on Drupal too. Which distribution did you settle on, and how have that worked out for you? Any advice on which distribution and themes to implement our site on?

The expected project never happened but we were considering these distribution Opigno LMS and Open Atrium. Over and above I think you can build from scratch if you have the time, there are existing modules that you could combine with the core whilst needing to write your own module. The rules and several other workflow modules module will be very useful digitizing processes. Document management might need integration of some other open source DM libraries.
