Hi

I am a total Drupal newbie and have recently inherited reponsibility for a Drupal site.

I've got the bones of it, its 7.41 with the Nexxus theme.

When viewed in a standard windows PC everything is fine, but I've identified a problem purely by accident when using an ios device.

My problem is that pages that are restricted by user permissions and only visible to logged in users when viewed in a windows PC are accessible to all and sundry when viewed in an ios device. It seems that any permissions restrictions that exist and effective in windows browsers are ignored or simply not working in ios devices.

So when viewed in an ios device content intended to be private is accessible without the need to be logged in, but if viewed in a windows PC the permissions rules are effective.

Any help, please?

Thank you.

Drupal permissions are device/os/browser agnostic. My guess this is a caching issue or you need to rebuild permissions.

2. https://docs.acquia.com/articles/rebuilding-node-access-permissions

An retest.

SOLVED - I'm unsure exactly how it was solved but uninstalling the node access module seems to have worked.

Thank you.

If you uninstall node access module, doesn;t that mean you can no longer do the permissions you wanted int he first place? If that is the case, then I would reinstall it and rebuild permissions in step 2 I mentioned above.
