I have a use case in which we have members of a group with access to a specific space, but we do not want these group members to know the names/information of other group members. At the moment this is visable from /node/7/members. Is it possible for an admin user to restrict access to this without any code changes?

Within OA user access is controlled from the Space/Group level. A group isn't really a a group if they don't know each others names is it? /node/%/members displays them all. So for your select group of users you need to create a separate Group or Space.
