Hi,
Why checkbox name attributes are not grouped whereas it is done for radio type. Is there is any specific reason.?
Checkbox Type - HTML Struct
Radio Type - HTML Struct
And as of HTML Standard there is no need of "required" attribute for fieldset tag. Rather it should be a part of 1st item of the input tag of type "checkbox". This will be a flaw in the case of using "jQuery validation plugin".

mgiffordI suspect this was just an oversight.

mgiffordI think it's more that there's just one option for radio buttons, but more than one for checkboxes.
Radios provide a yes/no option, right? No grouping is required.
