Demonstration Site appears to be unsupported

Hello, is Demonstration Site currently being maintained?

7.x-1.0 is marked stable, but has not been updated since 2011-Jan-09. Since that time, multiple issues have been filed which seem to indicate a critical bug has existed since Drupal 7.15 was released in August 2012. Multiple users are claiming the module permanently breaks their site:

13 Aug 2012 7.15 upgrade breaks this module

26 Sep 2012 SQL dump files include partial table definitions

21 Feb 2013 Request for support

29 Mar 2013 Lack of create table statements

12 Jun 2015: Time for new release of demo module, please.

21 Oct 2015: Current "stable" version will not complete reset leaving your site in a broken state

7.x-1.x-dev was released in September 2013 and some users have reported success, others contend it remains broken:
17 Mar 2016 Dev version also is broken: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax

If you have time to investigate the credibility of these reports, please either address them in the que or note the dangers on the project page.
