Labels and identity for certain combo boxes (dropdown boxes) are not announced by JAWS. As an example within the “Content” screen, the "Type" combo box is announced by JAWS as “-View All-”, instead of announcing the label and identity as e.g., “Type" combo box -View All- 1 of 31 to change the selection use the arrow keys”.
This defect exists in Google Chrome v55.0.2883.87 m and does not exist in IE 11.
Expected result: All labels and identity of the fields are expected to be announced by JAWS. In this instance, JAWS is expected to announce e.g., “Type combo box -View All- 1 of 31 to change the selection use the arrow keys”.
Reference: Section 508, Part 1194.22, Paragraph (n).
Notes:
• This defect also exists elsewhere within the application.

mgiffordSo the field that we use to search the "Content type" is defined /admin/content by:
All of the select forms should be constructed the same way.
I'm not sure how this isn't a problem with JAWS or Chrome.
