Hello,

https://www.drupal.org/project/advagg and drupal core aggregator modules are same?

If not, can you please clarify the differences and when to use each module? I did research and confused. Thanks.

They essentially have the same function, but advagg does much, much more than core does. There are a lot of additional options that core does not provide.

I will use advagg module.Should I enable core aggregator as well?

why would you? I suggest stepping through the README.txt file included in the module you are installing.

Advagg requires core aggregator to be enabled.

The core aggregator module description - Aggregates syndicated content (RSS, RDF, and Atom feeds). This is completely different from advagg. If you want to pull in external content automatically this module will do it; a better alternative is the feeds module https://www.drupal.org/project/feeds. These deal with RSS

AdvAgg deals with CSS/JS. Core does this in a minimal fashion here admin/config/development/performance under "Bandwidth optimization".
