Hello,

First sorry for my english.

I use Views Slideshow with drupal 7.54. My homepage load really slower when i enable the module. I enabled the "Display query log" and my homepage show about 290 queries when views_slideshow is disabled and more than 1500 queries when the views_slideshow is enabled.

Why so much queries ? I have only set 5 images in the slideshow.

Do you have the view displayed when you have the slideshow disabled? Views Slideshow *shouldn't* add extra queries. Views definitely would increase the queries. (though that much seems unreasonable, but I haven't actually counted lately). Post your query log if you can?

You are right, It was not a problem with the slideshow itself but a views problem.
