Hello,

I am new to drupal SEO. I simply develop site but google does not find my site using keyword search. I would like to get help from you how to optimize my site for drupal SEO.

How do I develop my pages with keywords (i.e. we buy houses in baltimore) so when people enter keywords (i.e. we buy houses in baltimore) in google, my page returns to google result?

I did google search for drupal seo. I got the below. Which one do I really need?

https://www.drupal.org/project/seo_checklist
https://www.drupal.org/project/seotools
https://www.drupal.org/node/2571379

Please advise.

That is a pretty broad question you are asking. SEO is a big topic. I would recommend all of those modules listed on your third link and the SEO checklist module (there is a lot of crossover). IMHO The SEO tools module is one giant piece of junk. It was very nice toolset in theory and early on it worked relatively well, but hasn't had any development in 5 years. Most of it is buggy and broken. For a nice modern take on Drupal SEO listen to https://www.lullabot.com/podcasts/drupalizeme-podcast/drupal-seo-with-be...

In the end, you are going to get the most bang for your buck on well-written, relevant content. The rest is just nice to have.

You MUST install the metatag module:

https://drupal.org/project/metatag

You must also install:

https://www.drupal.org/project/xmlsitemap

With the metatag module you must carefully add metatags to every page on your site, with careful attention to which are most important.

After using the metatag module to add the tags, then verify the meta data by perusing the html source code of all relevant site pages.

If you tune your metatags, use xmlsitemap, google webmaster, and so on, you'll watch your SEO sore.

You have a lot of grunt work ahead of you.

I already have this module installed:
https://www.drupal.org/project/site_map

Replace this module by https://www.drupal.org/project/xmlsitemap?

Keep both. One is user facing and one is for search engines.

@jushostname please don't hijack issues. Your issue is completely unrelated to this one and should be it's own post.

I know they are unrelated but need an urgent reply on it. That is why i follow recent thread. Dont be offended

Since you are new here, I will let you know that you don't post your unrelated issues in someone else's issue, even if it is urgent. I am not offended at all- I am informing you how it works here
