Username is taken but is not used [#2849085]

Hi! :)

I wanted to register with username "slootjes" but the error told me it was already taken "The name slootjes is already taken.". However it seems that this username does not exist on drupal.org: https://www.drupal.org/u/slootjes

My question is: can my username be renamed to "slootjes" since it isn't used by someone else.

I've deleted the old account which was completely inactive and never was used. Might take some time until all remnants of the user name are flushed out though.
