Hi Guys,

I'm actually looking to set up a client portal that can automate sales, projects and other business routines. I'm not sure what exactly I've to call the system I need to integrate but I can tell you the functionalities that are required for me behind the drupal. Below is the link which explains more or less what I need to have either within the Drupal or synchronised link to external modules/systems.

I'm open to any kind of advice whether it's related to drupal or external.

Thanks,
Dee

Possible direction here... I can't speak to compatibility of 3rd party CRM with D8, personally but there was a release for D7 a few years ago called CRM Core that set the architecture for communication between your Drupal CMS and a CRM. However, to my knowledge, it's still in Dev release for D8. You can take a look at it below. There is also a handbook link specifically for the CRM Core module that explains details a little more extensively. That said, this, again is strictly the core architecture so you would have to build the associated UI's and case-specific functionality that you need. In terms of sales tracking, etc, it can all be done with the CRM Core but you'll have to build it. We are currently building it into our D7 site as we speak, and I have nothing but good vibes about it. 3rd party CRMs such as Salesforce get real tiffy about anything trying to bond with their "proprietary" software, in our experience. Take a look at the info below and maybe that will help you get a better feel for where things are with D8 compatibility currently. There may be other modules or options out there too, so hopefully others will chime in to help as far as the 3rd party stuff.
