Request for 'confirmed' user role

Dear All

I would like to achieve the status of a "confirmed" user. I recently opened a feature request for a module, but was not able to respond to the administrators questions (even 12h after). Since I am getting more and more familiar with Drupal 8, I would also like to participate and contribute to the Drupal community in the future.
