The issue was marked fixed over there, but I'm still getting the exact same problem described there.

Attached is a patch that fixes it, but It feels like fixing a symptom rather then the bug itself.

Retested on 1.10 and latest 1.x-dev. The issue is still present. Steps to reproduce remain unchanged. The only solution is to revert to 1.7 and apply patch.

Getting the same issue.
Image field is re-used in node and in paragraph type, and this paragraph type is selected in node in entity reference field. When uploading image in both fields and trying to save - getting error that Alternative text is not filled and the image from paragraph image field "jumps" to the node image field.
Drupal Version: 8.9.13
Entity Browser Version: 8.x-1.10
