Compatibility with PHP 7 for outdated 7.x-2.x [#2844517]

Problem/Motivation

Currently external Mailchimp library is incompatible with PHP 7. This version of API and library itself is deprecated but, nevertheless, used by some projects.

I think that this is a waste of effort. The 7.x-2.x and 7.x-3.x versions of MailChimp only work with the older MailChimp API, which is no longer available. Only MailChimp API 3.0 exists now, for which you need at least the 7.x-4.x version of this module. I think you need to update the module and the library, if you want to have support for PHP 7.
