Since Acquia Cloud's interface change, Insight doesn't connect or report status. Commons 7x-3.41 is running Acquia Connector 7.x-2.17, and shows that 7.x-3.0 (2016-Dec-05) is also available.

From Acquia Support:
"With the new User Interface, you will need to upgrade to the new 3.x version of Acquia Connector. This is a required upgrade for all Acquia hosted sites that are connected to Acquia and use the Acquia Insight feature. Without the upgrade you will not be able to view your Insight scores in the new UI."
